    Alesis Strike Pro Review โ†’

In the age of digital music recording and home recording studios, the ability to digitally record drums with the feel of an acoustic drumset is a huge advantage (if you can find the best electronic drums) in the time it takes to create perfect sounding tracks. I even see value in taking a few pads on the road with the trigger to compliment my acoustic drumset. Please note, we also have a list of best electronic drumkit under $1000 if you want to view those.

With that said, I really wanted to dive deep with my reviews of electronic drums as they can sound really incredible and add a lot to music or they can sound cheap and crappy and my even the best band sound amateur.

    Our Verdict

I can’t think of an electronic drumset better than the Roland TD30kv. ย The sound module is as good as it gets and the hardware and mesh pads are so dynamic and responsive that it is as close to playing an acoustic drumset as you can get while enjoying all the perks of digital drumming.

How do we pick our Top Choices for Best Electronic Drums?

The three main factors we look at when determining which electronic drums in this price range perform the best, include:

  • Top Quality
  • Professional Sound
  • Longevity

How can I be sure I’m purchasing a Quality kit?

The quality of an electronic drum set can be judged on a wide range of factors.  Considerations include the make of the electronic drum pads, the drumming padsโ€™ use of mesh heads, mesh pads and mesh snares vs rubber pads for the drum heads, the design of the cymbals pads, kick drum, bass pedals, drum trigger and more.

Many of those factors will determine the quality of feel when playing electronic drumsets, but ultimately, the sound quality is controlled by the drum module.

Does this kit have a Professional Sound?

Along with the way the electronic drumset feels when you play it, the sounds is of the utmost importance, especially if you are going to use the electric drums for live performances.

The sound has little to do with the quality of the hi-hat stands, whether it comes with a bass drum pedal or an option for double bass pedals. the sound mainly stems from the quality of the trigger pads and the sound module.

Will these drums last a Long Time?

With any expensive instrument purchase, you want to make sure that your electronic drums donโ€™t fall apart after a short time, especially if you intend to use your electronic drumset for live performances.  You donโ€™t have to splurge on a chrome rack to get quality electric drums that will last.

In our individual electronic drum reviews weโ€™ll help you find long lasting, high quality beginner electronic drum sets all the way to electronic drum sets for professional drummer mastering the art of digital drumming whether as a studio kit or for live performances.
