I added this to top 5 bass guitars for beginners mostly because it is so affordable. In all honesty it is not ideal for most beginners because it is more challenging to find your notes on a fretless, however, if you learn on a fretless you will be that much better when you get good and especially for adult beginners and dedicated younger players, there is something so fun and enjoyable about the tone of a fretless bass.

This bass comes prestrung in the factory box. With the exception of needing to tune the bass, this instrument comes ready to play!
How does this bass compare to a Mexican made fender jazz bass?
There are things about the hardware and electronics I like about the Mexican jazz bass, but it really depends on what you like and want to sound like. A fretless bass has a very unique sound. For the best examples, check out some Jaco Pastorius recordings.
Does the bass include a case or bag?
This bass does not include a case or bag. I would suggest purchasing either a case or a stand for the bass.
