There are so many solid brands available for best acoustic guitars, and we certainly this Martin deserves a look. The D-15M is not the most affordable, so we’ve placed it on our list of best acoustic guitars under $1500.

Martin 15 Series D-15M Acoustic Guitar Features:

  • 6-string Acoustic Guitar
  • Dreadnought Body Style
  • Katalox Fingerboard
  • Distressed Finish
  • Mahogany Back and Sides

Both in look and sound, the Martim D-15M Acoustic guitar embodies the over 115 year history of Gibson in one beautiful guitar.

The Mahogany dreadnought body has been done a million times and you can tell that Martin is the reason why.  In terms of guitars of this caliber, the price is pretty incredible to own such an incredible  instrument. The dreadnought body is still great on other brands aside from Martin, like the guitar in the Fender CD60S review.

It’s no wonder why it’s a choice guitar for professional musicians, which includes the like of Chris Martin, the front man and multi instrumentalist from Coldplay.

Professional guitars have been flocking to this guitar for years and it has even found itself on big stages including with Colplay’s Chris Martin.
