Let’s discover Ibanez series for best acoustic guitars, their IJV50 is one of the best acoustic guitars under $200 and has many noteworthy features.

Ibanez IJV50 Acoustic Guitar Features:

  • Everything you need to get started
  • Gig bag included
  • Tuner Included
  • Good Quality Beginner Guitar

This is the standard, out of box beginner guitar you expect when you think of a guitar for beginners.  It’s nothing special, but it’s also not terrible consider the low cost.  Surprisingly, it has a solid Mahogany build with the classic dreadnought body type topped with spruce that I frankly think is a good deal for the price. Check out our Alvarez Grateful Dead Guitar review for something around the same price while also having a unique design.

The rosewood fretboard and bridge is a nice touch and makes this a good guitar for beginners, along with the guitar in our Maestro by Gibson acoustic guitar review.

8.7 Expert Score

This is definitely only recommended for beginner guitarists but if you are a beginning is got some nice features to assist you, like the bridge pins, which help with tuning and staying in tune.  It also makes changing strings easier for the beginner.

PROS
  • It's an out of the box, ready to play guitar that is priced and packaged for the beginner
CONS
  • It's just not special. Don't get me wrong, it's great for beginners, but I'm of the mind to spend a little more and get something that can hang around for a while as you get better.
