Jasmine may not be known as a brand considered for best acoustic guitars, but we’re taking a look at their S34C to see if it will make the cut for best acoustic guitars under $200

Jasmine s34c Acoustic Guitar Features:

  • Easy to Play
  • Quality Entry Level Guitar
  • Big NEX Body
  • Rosewood Bridge

When buying an acoustic guitar under $200 be sure to temper your expectations.  You are not buying a high end Taylor that feels like butter to play and even better to hear.  You are in the market for a cheap guitar, so ideally you can get the cheap price without getting the “cheap” guitar. If you up your budget a bit, you can get a travel-friendly model that we discuss in our Martin Backpacker Guitar review.

The look alone for such an inexpensive guitar stands out right away and once you get some decent strings on it and ideally take it to a local guitar shop for a tune up, you’ll have a nice jumbo acoustic guitar at a steal of a price. If you’re a fan of the rosewood bridge, you can find it on the related guitar model featured in this Jasmine S35 review.
