  • It’s worth having to make a few tweaks to this guitar since it’s such a low price to own. With new strings, some tension adjustments and some TLC, this can sound quite beautiful
  • It cost
  • It doesn’t come set appropriately for the fact that it’s being marketed to beginners that won’t know how to make adjustment out of the box

Jasmine S35 Acoustic Guitar Features:

  • Harwood Spruce Top
  • Laminated Nato back & sides
  • Chrome covered Tuning Machines
  • Rosewood Fretboard

Jasmine is to Takamine as Epiphone is to Gibson.  Takamine is a high quality producer of acoustic guitars and stringed instruments and the Jasmine line offers affordable acoustic guitar options that make use of the great Takamine guitar making skills. The rosewood fretboard is a great touch to a guitar, like the one in our Maestro by Gibson acoustic guitar review.

The classic dreadnought body looks great and sounds even better.  With a little tweaking, like simply changing the strings, this guitar can sound much more valuable than the price tag assigned to it. If you raise your budget a bit, you should also consider the similar guitar we feature in our Jasmine S34C review.
