Black Pumas have made a statement with their self titled double album, earning 2 grammy nominations for the single “Colors” for Record of The Year and Best American Roots Performance.
The bluesy, roots rock single is raw and emotional featuring lush harmonies with guitar riffs that stand out with a soaring guitar solo that is increasingly rare in popular music. The roots revival is a throwback to the soul singers of the Otis Redding era while serving up a modern twist that really shines in the overall production work of Adrian Quesada.
