Overview

While fretless basses aren’t recommended for beginners trying to find notes, this bass is affordable and if you do learn on it- you will learn to be an especially professional musician at finding notes.

Critic Consensus

This bass is THE value buy for a good quality fretless version of the best bass guitars.  It is not the best made or end all be all, but for the money, it’s a great value fretless bass.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

Does it come ready to play?

This bass comes prestrung in the factory box.  With the exception of needing to tune the bass, this instrument comes ready to play!

How does this bass compare to a Mexican made fender jazz bass?

There are things about the hardware and electronics I like about the Mexican jazz bass, but it really depends on what you like and want to sound like.  A fretless bass has a very unique sound. For the best examples, check out some Jaco Pastorius recordings.

Does the bass include a case or bag?

This bass does not include a case or bag.  I would suggest purchasing either a case or a stand for the bass.

I love this bass for the price.  If you are looking for a fretless and your not ready as a player or not ready financially to jump to the high end of these types of basses, this one will serve you beautifully!  This one is in my own shopping cart.
