The Beach Boys’ Endless Summer Gold Tour, led by Mike Love, has now seen two major disruptions to its 2026 North American schedule.
The Comeback That Keeps Getting Postponed
The Endless Summer Gold Tour’s third schedule in months has ticket holders navigating uncertainty all over again.
Think of it like a flight board where the departure time keeps shifting right — no explanation on the screen, just a new number where the old one was. That’s the experience of holding a Beach Boys ticket in 2026.
Three dates scheduled to restart the tour are gone:
- Sept. 24 — West Springfield, Massachusetts
- Sept. 25 — Quakertown, Pennsylvania
- Sept. 27 — North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Venues cited “circumstances beyond control.” No specific cause was confirmed publicly. For fans who already absorbed nearly 30 canceled or postponed summer dates, that vague language lands like a door closing quietly in your face.
The earlier disruption had at least come with an explanation. Frontman Mike Love said the band needed a short break to “recharge,” pausing the tour from late July through early September. Several dates were rescheduled; others were canceled outright. The Quakertown show had already moved once from July 26. North Myrtle Beach had previously shifted from January 24. These weren’t isolated hiccups — they were a cascading series of schedule rewrites that turned a summer tour into an endurance test for loyal fans.
What This Means If You Have Tickets
The rules for postponed and canceled dates differ, and knowing which category your show falls into could save you real money.
The distinction matters. If your date was postponed and rescheduled, your ticket should be honored at the new show, per the band’s earlier announcement. If it was outright canceled, contact the venue or your ticketing provider directly — no universal refund policy was confirmed across all affected dates. Check before assuming anything.
As of Sept. 23, the next listed Beach Boys performance was Oct. 9 at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington, Illinois. The currently listed remaining dates:
- Oct. 10 — Cincinnati, OH, PNC Pavilion at Riverbend
- Oct. 11 — Nashville, TN, Ryman Auditorium
- Oct. 19 — Calgary, AB, Grey Eagle Resort and Casino
- Nov. 11–12 — Orlando, FL, Epcot’s America Gardens Theatre
- Nov. 13 — Bristol, VA, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
- May 8, 2027 — Enoch, AB, River Cree Resort and Casino
- Aug. 21, 2027 — Aurora, IL, RiverEdge Park
Verify every date directly with the venue before booking travel. That’s not paranoia at this point — it’s pattern recognition.
One alternative worth knowing: Al Jardine performed at the Oregon State Fair on Aug. 29 with the Pet Sounds Band, in a show billed as “An Evening With Al Jardine and The Pet Sounds Band.” His touring operation is separate from Love’s Beach Boys entity. For fans wanting a surviving classic-era member performing the deep catalog — including material from Pet Sounds — his dates offer a genuine alternative worth tracking.
Brian Wilson died in June 2025. Every remaining show now carries a weight that no rescheduled date can fully recover. Confirm before you travel — but as of Sept. 23, the October calendar was still listed as scheduled.
