Get ready to laugh, sing along, and embrace the absurd as “Weird Al” Yankovic announces his most ambitious tour yet. The comedy-rock legend is gearing up for his highly anticipated Bigger & Weirder 2025 Tour, a 65-date North American extravaganza that promises to deliver a dynamic mix of his iconic parodies and deep cuts, all amplified by a grand production.

Announced on September 23, 2024, the tour has already generated a buzz among fans eager to experience Yankovic’s unique blend of humor and music live on stage. The extensive tour will kick off on June 13, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV, at The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort, with Yankovic performing multiple shows in the city.

According to Stereogum, this tour marks a significant departure from Yankovic’s previous tours, which focused more on his lesser-known songs. The Bigger & Weirder 2025 Tour will feature a “giant video wall, multiple costume changes, and an amazing eight-piece ensemble” that includes Yankovic’s original band, along with four additional players. This setup promises to enhance the sound and visual experience, with twice as many players on stage compared to previous tours.

Fans can expect a blend of crowd-pleasing parodies and some deep cuts that have never been performed live before. Spin reports that the opening act for the tour will be Puddles Pity Party, a Pagliacci-inspired 6’8″ clown act known for its viral cover of Lorde’s “Royals”.

Since his last tour, Yankovic has achieved significant milestones, including the release of his Emmy-winning biopic WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, which starred Daniel Radcliffe, and the album “Polkamania,” featuring polka-medley interpretations of the last decade of pop music. This new tour reflects his return to performing his most popular and beloved songs, but with an enhanced production value.
