Mark Morrison, the British R&B artist best known for his 1996 hit “Return of the Mack,” was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, following an alleged altercation at Le Bar à Vin, a local wine bar. The 52-year-old singer faces charges of simple battery after reportedly pushing the restaurant manager twice during a dispute over non-payment for a planned event.
According to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office records, Morrison was booked into the county jail and later released on a $1,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for April 15, where he will face the misdemeanor charge.
