Overview

Perfect for a bedside amplifier and the needs of a portable practice amp, the Peavey Solo 12W Transtube Electric Guitar Amplifier is one of the best low wattage amps of its kind.

Critic Consensus

Peavey made a very solid amplifier when they introduced the 12W Transtube and should be considered for best guitar amps under $100. Equipped with an 8″ Blue MARVEL speaker, the Peavey 15 watt guitar Amp emulates the tone and response of a tube amp with the reliability of its solid state design. So while this is not amongst the best guitar amps, this does hold weight.
