Fender and Bvlgari are united in creating a Stratocaster in an exceptional limited edition

  • Fender and Bvlgari launch a Stratocaster in a limited edition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the iconic guitar.
  • The guitar tree has a distinctive design inspired by Fender Japon’s Aerodyne and Elemental gammes, with 70 examples of its own products.
  • This collaboration includes the common values of innovation, precision and style that define the two legendary brands.

The Fender x Bvlgari collaboration is a testament to the shared values and rich histories of both iconic brands. Fender’s Justin Norvell emphasizes that the Stratocaster has been at the forefront of musical progress and sonic exploration for the past 70 years, making it an ideal partner for Bvlgari, a brand with a similarly rich history in horology. This partnership celebrates the Stratocaster’s enduring legacy and its role in shaping the sound of generations.

Bvlgari’s CEO, Jean-Christophe Babin, adds that the collaboration is a fusion of two iconic legacies, transcending aesthetics to celebrate heritage, design, and innovation. By bringing together the world of high-end watchmaking and the iconic Stratocaster, this partnership showcases the attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship that both Fender and Bvlgari are known for.

As Guitarplayer reports the Fender x Bvlgari Stratocaster is not just a beautiful instrument; it is a symbol of the shared values that define both brands. It represents a dedication to precision, a passion for innovation, and a deep respect for the rich histories that have shaped each company. This collaboration is a celebration of the timeless appeal of both the Stratocaster and Bvlgari’s luxury timepieces, and a testament to the enduring power of great design.

The Limited Edition Bvlgari Stratocaster boasts a distinctive design that draws inspiration from Fender Japan’s Aerodyne and Elemental ranges. Guitarworld reports that the guitar features a streamlined pickguard, downsized control layout, and body-mounted single-coils, giving it a sleek and modern look. The master volume and tone control knobs are fashioned from knurled metal, adding a touch of luxury and precision to the instrument. A quarter-sized, one-ply parchment pickguard complements the guitar’s elegant aesthetic.

The Stratocaster’s two-piece select ash body is finished in a stunning mid-’50s Wide-Fade Chocolate 2-Color Sunburst, which beautifully showcases the wood’s natural grain. The guitar’s neck is crafted from quartersawn maple with a soft V-profile, providing a comfortable and responsive playing experience. The 7.25″-9.5″ compound radius rosewood fingerboard ensures smooth playability across the entire fretboard.

This unique combination of materials, finishes, and hardware creates a Stratocaster that not only looks exceptional but also delivers the iconic Fender sound and feel that players have come to expect from the brand. The collaboration between Fender and Bvlgari has resulted in a truly remarkable instrument that celebrates the rich heritage and innovative spirit of both companies.
