One hundred shows at Madison Square Garden. That number alone earns Phish a seat at a very short table. The Vermont four-piece just announced their final 2026 and opening 2027 tour dates, and the math lands somewhere between staggering and inevitable for a band that has built its entire mythology around showing up, night after night, and making each performance its own.
The Dates: Fall Warmup, Then New York
Before the Garden gets involved, Phish runs a tight southeastern circuit this fall.
The fall run includes four stops across three cities before the New Year’s run takes over. Richmond, Virginia at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront on Oct. 6 and 7; Jacksonville, Florida at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Oct. 9; and Huntsville, Alabama at Orion Amphitheater on Oct. 10–11. Then the main event.
The confirmed itinerary:
- Oct. 6–7, 2026 — Richmond, VA, Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront
- Oct. 9, 2026 — Jacksonville, FL, VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena
- Oct. 10–11, 2026 — Huntsville, AL, Orion Amphitheater
- Dec. 30–31, 2026 — Madison Square Garden, New York City
- Jan. 1–2, 2027 — Madison Square Garden, New York City
- Jan. 27–30, 2027 — Moon Palace Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico
Thirty-Two Years of New Year’s Eves
The four-night Garden run carries the kind of numerical symmetry that only decades of showing up can produce.
Jan. 2, 2027, will be show number 100 at the Garden — a milestone that makes that night far more than a concert; it’s a timestamp in live-music history. Phish’s official announcement confirms the band will reach that count on the final night of the New Year’s run, a distinction that places them among the most prolific acts ever to perform at the venue. Full details, including the historical context of that 100th show, are available on Phish’s official tour page.
Riviera Maya Turns Ten — and Brings Friends
The festival’s 10th anniversary edition stacks eight Phish sets alongside a full supporting lineup of DJs and comedians.
January doesn’t stop at MSG. Phish: Riviera Maya returns Jan. 27–30, 2027, at Moon Palace Cancún for its 10th anniversary edition. Eight Phish sets anchor the four nights. Late-night DJ sets come from James Murphy and Questlove — two people who understand that a room full of people dancing is its own kind of improvisation. Comedy sets from Fred Armisen, Rory Scovel, Beth Stelling, Ali Macofsky, and Phil Hanley round out the programming.
Ticket requests for the New Year’s MSG run close Monday, Oct. 12, at noon ET. Full ticketing details and general public sale dates are listed on Phish’s official tour page. If you’re planning to be in that Garden on Jan. 2 — when the counter hits 100 — move fast. Moments like this don’t come around twice, and this one has been thirty-plus years in the making.
