Some bands go quiet and you assume that’s it. Faith No More went quiet for over a decade, and the silence grew loud enough that their absence became part of their mythology. That ends June 3, 2027, when they headline night two of Rock For People’s 32nd edition at Park 360 in Hradec Králové, Czechia — the same festival where they last stood on a stage back in 2015. Their broader return is already confirmed: co-headlining 2027 dates with System of a Down are also on the calendar. Blink-182 — Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker — opens the festival on June 2.
The Lineup So Far
The first wave stretches well beyond the headliners, covering metalcore, punk, indie-pop, and experimental rock.
Beyond the headliners, the first wave covers serious ground:
- Architects (British metalcore), Billy Talent (Canadian punk-rock), Killswitch Engage (American metalcore)
- Motionless In White, Napalm Death, Neck Deep, Sleeping With Sirens, Static-X, Wage War, Holding Absence
- Beach Bunny (Chicago indie-pop with hooks built to outlast a festival weekend), Fat Dog (London experimental post-punk, abrasive and worth your time), and emerging act Blue Medusa
More names are expected as additional lineup waves are announced.
Why This Booking Hits Different
Faith No More’s return carries weight that goes beyond nostalgia — and the people behind this festival know it.
Rock For People director Luděk Motyčka called the pairing of both headliners “a huge event,” telling NME that Faith No More “fundamentally influenced modern rock and metal.” That’s not press-release filler. It marks the kind of cultural moment that tends to define a festival’s legacy — a band whose absence shaped the mythology returning to a stage that knows exactly what their presence means.
Blink-182’s European summer is relentless: Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, headline shows in Berlin, Paris, and Milan. They’re not coasting on nostalgia. Their 2023 album One More Time… re-established the original trio as a working band with something to say. A 25th-anniversary reissue of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket — featuring the original 13 tracks plus six previously unreleased titles — keeps the catalog active and the conversation current.
What This Says About Rock For People
A festival that booked Iron Maiden and Gorillaz last year isn’t lowering its ambitions for 2027.
Last year’s edition pulled Iron Maiden, Gorillaz, Bring Me The Horizon, and Limp Bizkit. The 2027 first wave maintains that range: legacy headliners anchoring an undercard that serves metalcore, punk, and indie audiences without compromise. That’s a festival that actually understands who shows up — and programmes accordingly.
Early ticket action is expected to be brisk. Full lineup details and availability are through Rock For People’s official channels at rockforpeople.cz.
