Guitar legend Eric Clapton has unveiled plans for a brief but highly anticipated US tour in autumn 2025, supporting his recent album “Meanwhile.” The six-date trek will see Clapton performing at major arenas across the eastern United States, accompanied by special guests The Wallflowers.
The tour kicks off on September 8 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, followed by stops in Cleveland, Philadelphia, Boston, and New York, before concluding on September 20 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. This limited run marks Clapton’s return to American stages following his 2024 performances across North and South America and Europe.
Clapton will be backed by an all-star band featuring Nathan East (bass/vocals), Edward ‘Sonny’ Emory III (drums), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar), Tim Carmon (Hammond/keyboards), Chris Stainton (keyboard), and backing vocalists Sharon White and Katie Kissoon.
“Meanwhile,” Clapton’s 22nd solo studio album released in October 2024, showcases collaborations with Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, and others. The tour setlist is expected to blend new material with classics from Clapton’s extensive catalog spanning his work with The Yardbirds, Cream, and his solo career.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 7 at 10 AM local time, with various presales beginning Thursday, March 6. Given Clapton’s legendary status and the limited number of shows, high demand is anticipated.
