For best acoustic drums, I actually have this kit at home and I love it. I’ve done some shows with it in small theaters and have gotten some rave reviews from our soundman. A cool trick to get some lower overtones out of the kick drum is to put a weight in the drum, which helps its ratings toward best drums & percussion.

CONS
  • Out of the box, the kick drum is slightly high pitched. Fortunately, there are ways to remedy that issue
