  • Awesome little ukulele that looks like a vintage Martin parlor guitar…sorta.
  • The included nylon strings are pretty solid.
  • Color can be lighter in person than it appears in pictures depending on the cut you get.

Overview

Ibanez should be proud of this one both for the look and sound.  The value is there for any level ukulele player.

Critic Consensus

Ibanez jumped into the best ukuleles game with their amazing mahogany ukuleles and they did a fantastic job. The Ibanez Ukulele, available in soprano and concert sizes, uses the original Ibanez guitar form and has a look similar to the 1800s old school parlor guitars. Although in grain darkness the wood can differ slightly, the sound is consistently rich and authentic and we’ve decided to see if it should be on our list of best ukulele for beginners. Ibanez makes great instruments for beginner musicians, whether you want to play ukuleles or guitars, like the one we mention in our Ibanez IJV50 review.
