The best thing about this ukulele is that it not only has the signature look that Grace wanted, but it has the signature sound on all of her records as well and varies from others like the Fender Venice Soprano Ukulele. Fender has given the Fender Stratocastor style headstock to this ukulele which really gives it a cool look. For Fender Heads, it is a must have.

9.7 Expert Score

The Fender Grace Vanderwaal Signature Ukulele is a concert sized ukulele with the personality of a full sized Fender Stratocaster.  With Fenders FIshman preamp system, or in this case the Fishman Kula Preamp system, this concert ukuleles’ sounds good acoustic and electric.

Grace Vanderwaal has done alot to popularize the Ukulele as she made it the signature sound of her popular music.  It is fitting that Fender would introduce a model dedicated to her and will certainly help continue the trend in the rising popularity of the ukulele.

PROS
  • Grace Vanderwaal Signature Ukulele. Always nice to have signature series instruments.
  • Fishman pickup/preamp system is obviously a perk for a ukulele.
  • Easy string changing with the Pull-Through Bridge.
CONS
  • The signature aspect of it makes it a little more expensive than it needs to be.
